Position Overview
We're looking for a Workflow Systems Analyst who will be responsible for designing and cultivating critical workflow tooling at scale. In this role, you'll serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, delivering valuable data insights and driving process improvement initiatives across the organization.
Your primary focus will be on delivering meaningful data insights while engaging with partners across the organization to provide training and support for workflow initiatives. You'll leverage your analytical expertise to identify patterns, optimize processes, and create visual representations of complex workflows that drive strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Workflow Improvement Initiatives: Lead efforts to enhance both the quality and efficiency of organizational workflows. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks, propose solutions, and implement improvements that have a measurable impact.
- Dashboard Development: Create compelling visualizations that bring key information to life. You'll design and develop interactive dashboards using Tableau that effectively communicate performance metrics, trends, and insights to stakeholders at all levels.
- Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Translate raw data into actionable insights. You'll identify patterns of behavior and trends within large datasets, providing recommendations that drive strategic business decisions.
- Process Documentation: Research and document the current state of software development workflows. You'll gain a deep understanding of fundamental challenges and pinpoint processes that need improvement, creating comprehensive documentation that guides optimization efforts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with a team of data specialists and full-stack engineers to develop and refine analytics dashboards using Tableau. You'll collaborate directly with teams to integrate insights into their decision-making monitoring and processes.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor the results of your initiatives and regularly report on successes and challenges to senior leadership. You'll establish key performance indicators and present findings and recommendations to all levels of the organization.
- Workflow Visualization: Expertly map and document workflows and processes into clear, understandable workflow charts that facilitate communication and understanding across departments.
- Client Partnership: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders. You'll be comfortable facilitating meetings, gathering requirements, conducting analysis, and presenting solutions that meet business needs.
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in a role involving data analysis, programming, or specialized project management.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of data analysis, statistical methods, and advanced Tableau development. You should be exceptionally skilled at turning data into meaningful visual stories.
- Process Expertise: Demonstrated appreciation of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Quality Management principles.
- Communication Skills: Ability to synthesize key success metrics and present workflow and process recommendations to all levels of leadership with clarity and confidence.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong aptitude for researching and translating complex workflows and processes into clear workflow diagrams and documentation.
- Data Handling: Proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization, with the ability to showcase quantitative information effectively using tools like Tableau.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Comfortable facilitating meetings, gathering requirements, conducting analysis, and presenting findings to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
