They are seeking a Tier 1 Operations Support Specialist to help develop robust systems by implementing monitoring tools and automating processes while providing continuous operational support.


Responsibilities

  • Help the Intelligence Community develop more robust systems by building a resilient infrastructure
  • Build in redundancy, implement monitoring tools, and automate wherever possible
  • Reduce toil by scripting routine tasks and automating self-repair
  • Support client missions with continuous and uninterrupted operation support

Skills

  • 1+ years of experience in a technical support role such as IT operations or help desk
  • Experience performing initial troubleshooting for system, application, or network issues
  • Experience using ticketing or incident management tools such as JIRA or ServiceNow
  • Experience with Linux or Windows system administration fundamentals
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and document actions clearly
  • Ability to work rotating round-the-clock shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of hire
  • Experience monitoring enterprise systems, dashboards, logs, or mission applications
  • Experience escalating incidents to higher-tier teams
  • Knowledge of on‑call processes, after‑hours support models, or operational recall procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff through strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a high‑tempo environment
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Security+ or Network+ certification
  • Industry cloud foundational AWS Cloud Practitioner, CompTIA Cloud+, or MS Azure Fundamentals certification
