[Remote] Security Officer Patrol Remote Mining Facility

The Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver role involves providing security services at a manufacturing and industrial location, responding to incidents, and conducting regular patrols to ensure safety and security.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points, with duties varying based on the location
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to deter unauthorized entry while following site procedures for contractors, deliveries, and employee movement
• Observe equipment storage areas, materials staging zones, and exterior grounds for unusual activity, maintenance-related concerns, and/or other security-related issues, and communicate findings as needed

Skills

• Be at least 21 years of age
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred
• A guard card/license is preferred
