[Remote] Remote Math Tutor (Grades 5-8, Mandarin Preferred)

They are seeking Remote Math Tutors to deliver personalized, one-on-one online math lessons for students in Grades 5-8, aligned with U.S. Common Core State Standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one online math lessons for students in Grades 5-8 across North America, aligned with the CCSS framework
• Teach in English using interactive and student-centered methods to promote engagement, strengthen core concept understanding, and address questions in real time
• Prepare lesson content based on individual student needs, ensuring well-structured and high-quality instruction
• Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance to support student understanding and continuous improvement

Skills

• Bachelor's degree or above; majors in Math, Education, or related fields are preferred
• Available and willing to work during weekday evenings and weekends
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Teaching experience or a valid teaching certificate is highly preferred
• Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is preferred
