[Remote] Project Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Highland Electric Fleets is dedicated to making electric fleets accessible and affordable, serving as North America’s leading provider of Electrification-as-a-Service. The Project Manager I will oversee the design and installation of EV charging infrastructure projects, managing the full project lifecycle and collaborating with various internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the full project lifecycle from pre-contract, execution, project completion and operational deployment
• Partner with key internal experts to deliver projects with excellent customer experiences
• Manage multiple projects in various stages at the same time
• Select engineering consultants and installation contractors for projects
• Negotiate and execute project-based subcontractor agreements
• Coordinate with utilities for service upgrades and interconnection scopes of work
• Support submission of all project permitting requirements
• Establish and maintain project cost forecasts and actuals
• Develop and drive detailed project schedules
• Ensure compliance with all project and customer requirements
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors and internal to solve unique challenges

Skills

• Bachelor's degree and 1+ years professional experience OR 3+ years professional experience
• 1+ years direct project management experience, preferably electrical or civil
• Excellent analytical skills
• Self-motivated: proactively assume responsibilities, with the ability to operate effectively with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to collaborate across departments within the company, external customers, and partners
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• EV charging infrastructure experience
• Renewable energy project experience a plus (V2G, BESS, solar, storage, microgrid)
