Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Ascensus is a leading third-party administrator of retirement plans, providing personalized service backed by a large national firm. The Project Coordinator will support Senior Project Managers by coordinating project documentation, tracking actions, and ensuring timely updates, while gaining experience in project management.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and coordination support to Senior Project Managers
- Help keep project plans, task lists, additional trackers and documentation up to date
- Assist with organizing materials related to project readiness, communications, or training
- Support project meetings by preparing agendas and following up on action items
- Help distribute project updates and maintain shared project documents
- Ensure information is organized and easy for team members to access
- Use standard project tools and templates to track progress and maintain documentation
- Follow established project processes and ways of working
- Learn project management fundamentals through hands‑on support and guidance from Senior Project Managers
- Work collaboratively with project team members, stakeholders, and partners
- Demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a willingness to learn
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking, adaptability, and willingness to learn
- Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional, time‑sensitive environments
