The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada is seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven IT Coordinator to support their technology needs. The role involves providing first-level technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring systems run smoothly for employees.


Responsibilities

  • Provide timely first-level technical support for hardware, software, and system access issues
  • Monitor and respond to internal IT support requests, troubleshooting end-user issues
  • Install and configure software, devices, and workplace technology (e.g., laptops, printers, scanners)
  • Support connectivity, device performance, and application troubleshooting
  • Maintain and monitor computer systems and workplace technology
  • Set up user accounts and technology access for onboarding and offboarding employees
  • Assist with deployment and configuration of laptops and workplace tools
  • Support the scheduling and technical setup of board and committee meetings, including virtual meeting logistics
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for hardware deployment, tracking, and inventory
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
  • Liaise with manufacturers/vendors for warranties, repairs, and hardware support
  • Assist with testing and implementation of new systems and applications
  • Support system updates, maintenance tasks, and continuous improvements
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and proactively address technical issues
  • Maintain and update IT documentation, procedures, and knowledge resources
  • Support ongoing improvements to IT processes and service delivery

Skills

  • Currently pursuing or have recently completed studies in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or bring equivalent experience)
  • Experience in a helpdesk or IT support environment
  • Experience with device provisioning, user account management, or basic networking
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems or service desk tools
  • Solid understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communicator with a strong customer service mindset
  • Organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple requests effectively
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote or hybrid environment
  • Bilingual in English and French (an asset, due to the nature of our National organization)
