[Remote] Divisional Accounts Receivable Specialist

The role of Divisional Accounts Receivable Specialist involves managing the daily Accounts Receivable process, generating reports, and collaborating with teams to resolve outstanding items.

Responsibilities

• Generates and send monthly accounts receivable reports
• Handles requests for information on account corrections, premium finance and/or transfers
• Conducts special research, analysis, and reconciliation projects as assigned
• Follows up on accounting problems that arise within the scope of the position
• Analyzes data to ensure proper accounting procedures have been followed
• Provides assistance across teams in resolution of outstanding receivables

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• One (1) or more years of accounts receivable or administrative experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload
• Basic knowledge of accounting terms
• Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
