Position Overview


As a Data Entry Operator II at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in our document processing operations. This position goes beyond simple data entry—it requires the application of experienced judgment in selecting appropriate procedures, interpreting various document sources, and accurately coding items for computer processing. You will be working with computer images of documents, applying established coding systems, and ensuring the integrity of our data systems.

This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must reside within 75 miles of Clinton, Iowa, or Janesville, Wisconsin, due to specific operational requirements and potential future on-site training needs.

Key Responsibilities


The Data Entry Operator II will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Document Processing: Log into computer systems and access work queues to review computer-generated images of various documents. Analyze document content and apply appropriate codes from established coding lists to ensure proper categorization and data entry.
  • Data Verification: Review previously extracted information for accuracy and completeness. Identify discrepancies and make necessary corrections to maintain data integrity throughout our systems.
  • Quality Control: Adjust document orientation and lighting settings as needed to ensure optimal viewing conditions for accurate data extraction and coding.
  • Reference Management: Utilize work instructions, coding manuals, and reference materials to determine appropriate coding procedures for complex or unusual document types.
  • Meeting Attendance: Participate in mandatory meetings and training sessions as required by departmental and organizational needs.
  • Overtime Requirements: Work scheduled overtime with minimal notice, including regular weekday overtime and Saturday work as needed to meet business demands and project deadlines.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned by supervisory staff to support departmental operations and business objectives.

Training & Development Schedule


Onboarding Phase


Selected candidates will undergo a comprehensive training program designed to ensure success in their roles:



  • Orientation: Remote orientation session scheduled for December 2, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

  • Onsite Training: One week of in-person training (Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM) to familiarize yourself with company processes and equipment.

  • Remote Training Continuation: Five additional weeks of training from home (7:30 AM to 2:30 PM), contingent upon successful clearance processing.

Regular Work Schedule


Our flexible scheduling allows you to optimize your productivity:



  • Work hours are available anytime between 4:00 AM and 6:30 PM

  • Overtime is regularly expected throughout the week

  • Saturday work may be required based on business needs

Essential Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, candidates must meet the following requirements:


  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Language Skills: Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently

  • Confidentiality: Must be capable of maintaining confidential information with the highest level of integrity

  • Background Verification: Must successfully pass and maintain acceptable background checks and security clearances as required by client and regulatory requirements

  • Computer Proficiency: Basic computer knowledge is required, including familiarity with Windows-based operating systems, web browsers, and standard office applications

  • Typing Speed: Must demonstrate the ability to type a minimum of 8,000 keystrokes per hour with accuracy
