Position Overview: Data Analyst

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Data Analyst to join our Information Analytics team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving ad-hoc product analysis and building critical data solutions to better understand the arenaflex customer experience. You will support the Product Management team in expanding our suite of customer-centric products by identifying and evaluating new product opportunities and proposing flexible solutions.

As a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will have access to our boundless global data repository, allowing you to conduct in-depth analyses that influence strategic decisions across the organization. You'll be able to impact decisions that shape how we approach business challenges while making a meaningful difference at an extraordinary scale. In this role, you will be part of a larger team, "Information Analytics - Know Your Customer," and work closely with our partners in arenaflex Global Tech, Data Services, and various other product groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Preparation and Cleaning: Clean and prepare data for analysis by removing errors, identifying anomalies, and transforming data into a format that can be effectively analyzed. Ensure data integrity and consistency across all analytical outputs.


• Statistical Analysis and Insights: Investigate data and explore it for insights using statistical methods to test hypotheses, identify trends, and make predictions that drive business value.


• Programming and Automation: Develop and maintain programming scripts, particularly using Python and other languages, to automate repetitive analysis tasks and improve operational efficiency.


• Decision Support: Approach problems logically and make informed decisions based on data-driven insights. Provide recommendations that support strategic business objectives.


• Quality Assurance: Ensure accuracy in data analysis with meticulous attention to detail. Recognize irregularities or errors in data and implement corrective measures promptly.


• Visualization and Reporting: Clearly communicate findings, both in writing and orally, to non-technical stakeholders. Create compelling dashboards and reports that convey actionable insights using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.


• Problem Solving: Develop solutions for business problems using data-driven approaches that address core challenges and deliver measurable outcomes.


• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other developers, engineers, and management leaders, understanding their needs and providing them with relevant data insights that support their objectives.


• Ethics and Compliance: Understand the ethical implications of data use, storage, and analysis, especially regarding privacy and security considerations that protect our customers and organization.

Essential Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline is required. Advanced degrees are a plus but not mandatory.


• Technical Skills: Proficiency in languages used to manipulate data and draw insights from large datasets, including SQL, Python, and related analytics tools.


• Analytical Abilities: Strong exploratory data analysis skills with the ability to create insightful, data-driven recommendations and solutions.


• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across diverse teams and stakeholder groups.

• Experience providing end-user support and troubleshooting for Data Quality issues in enterprise environments.


• Related experience in the retail or financial services industries, understanding the unique data challenges and opportunities in these sectors.

• Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud platforms.


• Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools beyond the basics.
