Auxo is a fast-growing SaaS company modernizing procurement and supplier workflows for manufacturing organizations, and they are seeking a Business Development Representative. The role involves generating qualified outbound pipeline through cold calls and targeted email outreach, aiming to convert cold accounts into qualified meetings for Account Executives.


Responsibilities

  • Execute targeted outbound prospecting through cold calls and email outreach
  • Identify decision makers and qualify fit, urgency, and next steps before handoff
  • Book qualified meetings consistently and hit weekly and monthly targets
  • Maintain clean CRM discipline in HubSpot with structured notes and activity tracking
  • Work account lists with discipline, follow up systems, and persistence
  • Improve talk tracks and messaging through testing and iteration
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor positioning, and buyer pain points
  • Capture objection patterns and refine outreach strategies over time
  • Collaborate closely with AEs to tighten qualification standards and improve handoffs
  • Partner with Marketing and RevOps to improve targeting, routing, and performance

Skills

  • 1+ year of BDR or SDR experience preferred, open to strong SaaS sales profiles
  • Strong outbound calling ability and confidence on the phone
  • Clear communicator who can articulate value quickly and qualify properly
  • Experience working in HubSpot or similar CRM environments
  • Comfortable using sales tools, sequencing platforms, and enrichment tools
  • Ability to qualify business pain and urgency, not just book any meeting
  • Resilient, emotionally steady, and motivated by results
  • Organized enough to run a consistent daily outbound system
  • Curious about the customer and industry, not just focused on activity metrics
  • Team first mindset with strong collaboration instincts
