Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. iHeartMedia, the number one audio company in America, is seeking an Analytics Engineer to derive impactful insights from data for Unified and its clients. The role involves defining and scoping solutions to complex problems, and building, improving, and testing robust reporting and statistics solutions.
Responsibilities
- Derive impactful insights from data to drive intelligence for Unified and its clients
- Work with fellow team members to define and scope solutions to solve complex problems
- Help build, improve, and test robust reporting and statistics solutions that will drive impact throughout the organization
Skills
- 1-3+ years advanced programming skills in Python
- Proficiency in SQL and knowledge of RDBMs like Postgres and Redshift
- Experience with ETL processing and data wrangling including fetching, munging, cleaning, pivoting, analyzing, aggregating, distributing, and visualizing
- Basic knowledge of statistics, algorithms, data structures, and machine learning
- Experience with digital advertising technology
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with Spark and the big data ecosystem
- Experience using Git and the Unix command-line
- Familiarity with Airflow and Docker
- Familiarity calling RESTful web services, specifically social APIs (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
- Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Sisense)
- Bachelor's or higher in a quantitative field
