The role involves managing relationships with an assigned book of business, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting service managers with account-related activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned book of business (new and existing zero accounts)
- Support and work with all service managers and specialists for assigned accounts
- Build and maintain relationships with the defined customer base to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Respond to escalated issues that may arise; seek additional support from management as needed
- Conduct regular status meetings with customers to understand their needs and link them to the organization’s product/service strategies
- Manage pricing and service-related activities
- Perform product cross-referencing activities
- Create and run monthly/quarterly reports
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 1 year of account management or sales experience
- Background in commissioned, tangible product sales
- Experience identifying, connecting with, building consensus, and closing new business
- Ability to present multiple product lines
