Reporting to the Project Director – Mount Nansen, the Regulatory Lead is responsible for providing leadership and management of all planning studies, environmental assessments, permitting and regulatory requirements for the Mount Nansen Remediation project.

LEVEL OF COMPLEXITY
Work is specialized in complexity and involves a high degree of independent judgment to interpret/develop policies, processes, and systems in situations where wide variation in interpretation is possible. Work is performed within broad authority, receiving little direction. Problem resolution requires resourcefulness to originate new methods of analysis and/or methods of operation.
LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY
Works independently under broad direction. Responsible for leading and achieving plans based on the strategic priorities of the organization worldwide. Work is assessed based on objectives critical to the function’s success. Follows, and in some cases, establishes guidelines and precedents for decision-making. Work impacts on the results of the function and on the ongoing financial and operational effectiveness.
