The role involves developing relationships with customers, generating new business, and collaborating with global account teams to position Softcat as a trusted technology advisor.


Responsibilities

  • Generate and grow new business using targeted outreach strategies (cold calling, email, meetings)
  • Identify, qualify, and develop opportunities within new commercial accounts
  • Position Softcat's full range of technology products, services, and solutions
  • Understand each customer's business goals, technology priorities, and challenges
  • Build long-term strategic relationships with customers and partner organisations

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Demonstrable successful sales experience, consistently outperforming your quota
  • A passion for technology sales and a strong desire to build a successful sales career
  • A motivated, proactive self-starter with excellent organisation

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
