Location: 100% Remote
Type: Contract-to-Hire
Duration: 6 months (with long-term conversion)
Rate: Up to $76/hr (DOE)
Overview
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead a high-priority, multi-million dollar healthcare initiative focused on complex eligibility and variable co-pay structures across commercial and Taft-Hartley populations.
This is an active, in-flight program requiring a PM who can immediately step in and coordinate delivery across multiple systems, data flows, and stakeholder groups.
- Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of a complex healthcare product spanning:
- eligibility
- provider search
- claims adjudication
- EOB/EOP workflows
- Coordinate across cross-functional teams including:
- engineering
- data/integration teams
- product
- business operations
- Manage multiple system integrations (including file-based data exchanges across ~4 interfaces)
- Drive alignment on dependencies, timelines, and technical deliverables
- Facilitate communication between technical and business stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate risks in a fast-moving, evolving environment
- Provide clear status reporting and executive-level updates
- Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of Project Management experience with a technical delivery focus
- Strong background in healthcare payer environments:
- TPA, health plan, or similar
- Experience managing system integrations and data movement across platforms
- Solid understanding of how data flows between systems (hands-on not required)
- Experience working across:
- eligibility
- claims
- provider workflows
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Taft-Hartley or multi-employer plans
- Familiarity with:
- provider search platforms
- benefit design / co-pay structures
- Experience working in environments with file-based integrations (vs API-first)
