They are seeking a Production Engineering Specialist to support the transfer of production product lines into manufacturing, ensuring smooth line setup, equipment readiness, and production ramp-up while meeting safety, quality, and productivity requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end production line transfer and start-up
  • Equipment and process validation
  • Work instruction and process documentation updates
  • Troubleshooting during ramp-up and mass production
  • Collaboration with manufacturing, quality, and maintenance teams
  • Develop and deliver training to production teams

Skills

  • New graduate from a university program in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
  • Graduated from post-secondary school within the last 12 months
  • Above average study performance (Accumulative average > 2.5 (B-)). Transcripts to be provided upon request
  • Ability to support end‑to‑end production line transfer and start‑up activities
  • Basic understanding of equipment and process validation
  • Ability to update work instructions, process documents, and standard operating procedures
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to support issues during ramp‑up and mass production
  • Ability to work collaboratively with manufacturing, quality, and maintenance teams
  • Strong communication skills to develop and deliver training to production teams
  • Demonstrated leadership or initiative at school, work and/or community (extra curricular activities)
  • Growth mindset, with a passion for learning
  • Collaborative with an ability to cultivate relationships and networks
  • Agile, technically savvy, with a knack at creating solutions
  • Creative thinker with a unique ability for resourcefulness
  • Must have a valid Driver's license and vehicle
  • Co‑op or internship experience in a manufacturing or production environment is considered an asset
