Tapcheck is an award-winning fintech company seeking a Payments Operations Associate to join their team in Plano, TX. The role involves working with customers to support and reconcile payment transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance while assisting with various financial operations tasks.
Responsibilities
- Respond to client questions and help resolve basic support issues
- Assist with daily payroll checks to ensure information is accurate
- Help process refunds, returns, and financial transactions
- Identify and flag discrepancies for further review
- Support collection efforts and follow up on outstanding items
- Work with internal teams and partners to track and manage A/R aging
- Help document processes and keep records up to date
- Assist in monitoring system performance and reporting issues
- Follow company policies and ensure compliance with regulations
- Support team projects aimed at improving operations
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
- At least 1-2 years of experience in financial services, operations, or related fields
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in financial operations, payments, or payroll processes
- Ability to work in the Plano, TX office 3 days/week
- Exposure to payroll or payment systems is a plus (not required)
