Position Overview

We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to fill Part-Time Remote Customer Service Representative positions. In this role, you will be responsible for performing information sections and patient enrollments in accordance with state and government guidelines. You will be answerable for the resolution of third-party anomalies and answering high-volume customer requests, working under direct supervision while observing established working methods and performing duties according to company policies and procedures.

This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and can thrive in a remote work environment. You will be utilizing our proprietary pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and medication information, and your responsibilities may vary based on your assigned division. Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be entrusted with several critical duties that directly impact patient care and operational efficiency. Your primary responsibilities include:


  • Patient Enrollment and Data Entry: Utilizing arenaflex prescription data entry methods and guidelines, process new patient enrollments by accurately entering data into the appropriate system. Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing. Investigate to obtain missing prescription information and interpret clinical abbreviations (SIG codes). Resolve all data entry-related exceptions with precision and attention to detail.

  • Patient Communication: Handle correspondence to patients through inbound calls, chats, and messages. Make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as needed to gather information, clarify details, or follow up on pending requests. Ensure all communications are professional, empathetic, and aligned with arenaflex's customer service standards.

  • Third-Party Anomaly Resolution: Resolve third-party anomalies by researching, collecting information, making amendments, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements. Make phone calls to backup plans and other parties to obtain information, gain override approval, or otherwise resolve the third-party anomalies efficiently and effectively.

  • Pharmacy Support: Provide assistance to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those at various locations. Recognize and escalate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless pharmacy operations and exceptional patient care.

  • Compliance and Documentation: Must acquire active technician license or certification within the first 90 days, and maintain an active technician license or certification throughout employment. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA compliance and state regulations.

  • System Utilization: proficiently utilize pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and medication information. Stay current with system updates and new features to maximize efficiency and accuracy in data management.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following essential requirements:


  • Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree preferred, demonstrating foundational knowledge and critical thinking capabilities.

  • Computer Proficiency: Basic level computer skills including the ability to start up and shut down computers, use mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between programs, save documents, print documents, and access information online.

  • Internet Skills: Basic web browser abilities to include opening a browser, typing in URLs in the correct location, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms on the web.

  • Keyboard Proficiency: Intermediate level keyboarding skills with a minimum of 25 WPM, ability to type from memory, and organize documents efficiently.

  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive information professionally and confidentially.

Preferred Qualifications
