About This Role: Customer Service Agent – Ticketing & Baggage Services
As a Customer Service Agent at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations at one of our busiest hub locations. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $25/hour and provides flexible scheduling options perfect for those seeking part-time employment with comprehensive training and growth opportunities.
Our Customer Service Agents are the first point of contact for many of our passengers, and your actions directly impact our customers' overall travel experience. You'll be responsible for delivering A-list service to every client, making each passenger feel like the most valued individual throughout their journey with us. Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Agent, your primary duties will include:
- Warm Welcome & Guidance: Greet passengers with a genuine smile and provide knowledgeable assistance throughout the check-in and boarding processes. Guide customers through the ticketing and baggage registration procedures with patience and efficiency.
- Ticketing Operations: Utilize computer systems to sell, print, and reissue tickets. Process reservations, handle seat assignments, and manage flight changes or cancellations as needed.
- Check-In Process Management: Oversee the entire check-in operation, ensuring passengers have appropriate travel documentation, boarding passes, and comply with all regulatory requirements for their specific destinations.
- Baggage Handling: Tag luggage and perform physical tasks involving the movement of baggage from scales to conveyor belts. This includes handling items as low as floor level and as high as waist level, requiring regular lifting of bags weighing up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting of items between 50 and 70 pounds.
- Gate Operations: Manage workflow procedures prior to aircraft arrival, including lifting, opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors. Coordinate boarding processes and ensure timely departures.
- Information & Support: Assist customers with seat availability inquiries, gate announcements regarding boarding procedures, flight status updates, baggage checking, and general travel information. Answer questions about routes, schedules, and arenaflex services.
- Special Assistance: Accompany unaccompanied minors and passengers with disabilities throughout the airport, ensuring their safety and comfort during all phases of travel.
- Security Compliance: Practice security-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. Handle personal data with the utmost confidentiality and demonstrate that security is paramount in all aspects of the role.
- Uniform & Professional Standards: Maintain strict adherence to uniform consistency, professional demeanor, and a positive attitude both inside and outside the workplace to uphold the arenaflex brand.
What You Need to Succeed

- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic computer proficiency and entry-level computer skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with proper grammar, tone, and expression
- Fluency in English (both written and oral) is required
- Fluency in Spanish (both written and oral) is strongly preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Capability to regularly lift bags or items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Capability to occasionally lift bags or items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds
- Legal documentation proving the ability to live and work in the United States
- Must embrace diverse individuals, thinking, and styles
- Consistently prioritize safety and security of self and others

Preferred Qualifications
