Retrokid Inc. is a rapidly growing pop culture brand that celebrates childhood memories and authentic collaborations. They are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support the Sales, Marketing, and Design departments in product launches, events, and brand activations while working in a fast-paced, start-up environment.


Responsibilities

  • Liaise with License partners to approve all artwork, design, creative, copywriting, and social media content
  • Work with external digital marketing agency to approve all creative campaigns
  • Assist Sales team with all product launches, collection campaigning, and administration
  • Assist Marketing team with all creative design, promotional activities, and administration
  • Assist Design team with all design and art approvals, and administration
  • Work with internal teams to create sales offers, price reductions, and promotions
  • Provide accurate reports and inventory analyses in a timely manner
  • Assist with online webstore maintenance and optimization
  • Create product pages for all product launches including copywriting, sizing, weights and measures, inventory, lifestyle photography, and variants
  • Coordination and organization of all product photography, lifestyle, and promotional imagery used for all campaigns
  • Schedule and organize photoshoots for all collections
  • Maintenance of company wide DropBox for all Sales, Design and Marketing needs
  • Lead and attend all in-person activations, live events, and pop-ups. Travel may be required
  • General administrative support and coordination for Sales, Design, and Marketing teams
  • Collaborate with other internal teams (Product, Design, Marketing, Finance)

Skills

  • 1 to 2 years experience in a Sales or Marketing Coordinator role
  • Prior experience in retail or office environment is a big plus
  • Valid passport with the ability to travel throughout North America
  • Solutions-based thinker who thrives in a fast-paced work environment
  • Advanced familiarity of current and nostalgic pop culture from the ‘80s, ‘90s, ‘00s
  • Familiar with MS Office: Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, and Wrike, Slack, Canva
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining attention to detail
  • Availability to respond to issues and crises outside typical business hours
  • Must be able to travel to Pickering, Ontario, in-office minimum 3 days per week
