Market Analysis and Research 
  • Define the overarching market research strategy and
    utilize market insights to make high-level strategic decisions for market penetration
    for the product. 

  • Ensure the alignment of product strategies with
    market data, foster cross-functional collaboration to capitalize on market
    opportunities and monitor the impact of market analysis on the company's
    growth and market share for the product. 

 

Strategic Partnerships and
Alliances
 

  • Define the organization's partnership strategy and
    lead high-level partnership negotiations and agreements.

  • Develop and execute partnerships for growth with merchants and other partners and drive business outcomes towards the delivery of partnership goals.
  • Foster relationships with key partners, ensure
    alignment of partnership initiatives with company goals and monitor the
    strategic value of partnerships on market share and growth. 

 

Lead Generation and Sales
Funnel Management
 

  • Define the company's lead generation and conversion
    strategy for the product, oversee the overall lead tracking and management
    system and set high-level lead qualification and scoring criteria.

  • Monitor and influence lead conversion rates and
    effectiveness and evaluate the impact of lead generation on market share. 

  • Manage existing accounts and plans for the delivery of both strategic and tactical initiatives.

 

Client Onboarding and Support 

  • Define the company's client onboarding and support
    strategy for the product, monitor client satisfaction and onboarding at an
    executive level and oversee high-level support strategy initiatives.

  • Foster cross-functional collaboration on client
    support and onboarding and evaluate the impact of client onboarding and
    support on the success of the product. 

 

Competitive Intelligence and
Analysis
 

  • Define the organization's competitive intelligence
    strategy, utilize competitive insights to make high-level strategic
    decisions and foster cross-functional collaboration to capitalize on
    competitive advantages for the product.

  • Ensure that competitive strategies are aligned with
    company goals and monitor the impact of competitive analysis on the market share and growth for the product. 

 

Product Knowledge and Expertise 

  • Define the company's product knowledge and
    expertise strategy, monitor product knowledge and expertise activities at
    an executive level and ensure alignment of product knowledge efforts with
    strategic goals. 

  • Foster cross-functional collaboration on product
    knowledge initiatives and evaluate the impact of product expertise on the
    success of the product. 


Product Presentation 

  • Ensure organization-wide product knowledge and
    expertise, define the company's product presentation strategy and represent
    the organization in high-stakes product presentations. 

  • Drive alignment of product presentations with
    overall strategy and oversee the impact of product knowledge and
    presentation on market share. 

 

Market Expansion and Client
Segmentation
 

  • Define the company's market expansion and
    segmentation strategy, monitor market expansion and segmentation
    activities at an executive level and oversee high-level marketing
    strategies for new markets. 

  • Foster cross-functional collaboration on market
    initiatives and evaluate the impact of market expansion and segmentation
    on the success of the product.

  • Drive below-the-line activities to augment customer acquisitions and represent Qore at industry forums in order to continually drive awareness. 

Stakeholder Engagement / Management 

  • Regularly interact across functional areas with senior leadership and executives to ensure alignment and that the departmental objectives are met.
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with industry stakeholders while leveraging those relationships to deepen the Qore footprint across the industry and region. 

Requirements

  • BSc in any discipline from a reputable and accredited higher institution. 
  • 7+ years’ work experience in business development
    or sales role in a financial institution, and/or multinational B2B financial technology
    or technology company, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity, preferably in the South East and/or Northern regions of Nigeria.

  • Strong capabilities in B2B sales operations, relationship management, lead generation, lead conversion, negotiation, and product
    presentation, with good understanding of the local language, network and relationship with merchants and agents within the South East and/or Northern regions of Nigeria.

  • Good knowledge of software development, banking, and/or similar automated enterprise-based lending solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills, good
    relationship management and negotiation skills

  • Good business acumen and a strong drive for result with resilience,
    determination, capacity and willingness to learn, unlearn and relearn

  • Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to
    collaborate, work, manage and interact with employees across
    different management cadres.

  • Technology savvy with good knowledge of Agency Banking / Merchant Services platforms and products and its variant solutions is highly essential.
