Overview
Manages the design, budgeting, implementation, and reporting of compensation practices and policies . Leads other work assignments and projects, as needed and as directed by Director Compensation, to provide high quality service within the department. Supervises assigned compensation staff and defines operational workflow(s). Serves as a resource to team members by mentoring and/or assisting with tasks as appropriate. Coordinates quality and customer service activities as primary contact with divisions. Maintains effective relationships with all levels of Sentara leadership and HR Operations staff, maintaining open lines of communication and becoming knowledgeable of Divisional/System operational goals and staffing needs.
5 years HR experience required preferably in healthcare. 5 years operations/finance experience with compensation may be considered in lieu of healthcare experience. s.
