What You Will Do at arenaflex

As the Lead Data Quality Analyst at arenaflex, you will serve as the guardian of data integrity within our Customer Solutions domain. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying, analyzing, and resolving data quality challenges that could otherwise impact business performance and customer satisfaction. Core Responsibilities

• Data Quality Assessment & Analysis: Proactively identify, analyze, assess, document, and communicate potential quality issues in the way data is collected, stored, processed, or used across all customer-related systems and platforms.


• Stakeholder Partnership Development: Create and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in Customer Solutions, Finance, Operations, and other functions to design comprehensive plans for addressing data quality challenges and implementing sustainable solutions.


• Data Cleansing Leadership: Lead complex data cleansing projects as needed, working diligently to standardize transactional processes and ensure proper handoff to longer-term ownership teams for ongoing maintenance.


• Data Integrity Maintenance: Create and execute robust plans for the maintenance of data integrity based on findings from rigorous root cause analysis and continuous monitoring activities.


• Metrics Development: Design and implement meaningful data quality metrics that accurately measure the current state of data integrity and clearly demonstrate the success of data quality initiatives to leadership.


• Data Analysis & Reporting: Perform in-depth data analysis and effectively communicate trends, patterns, and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear, compelling visualizations and reports.


• Documentation Management: Manage comprehensive data quality documentation by defining, maintaining, and socializing data rules, definitions, calculations, sources, and lineage information across the organization.


• Data Governance Collaboration: Partner closely with the Data Governance senior manager to build and sustain a culture of data accountability, ownership, and excellence throughout arenaflex.


• Strategic Support: Support the deployment of the Customer Solutions Data Governance vision and strategies, ensuring alignment with overall organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.


• Presentation & Communication: Build and deliver polished presentations and communications that explain critical metrics, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders with some guidance from leadership.


• Project Prioritization: Effectively prioritize data quality projects based on Data Governance principles, strategic initiatives, business impact, and resource availability.

What You Need to Succeed

Required Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a similar quantitative field from an accredited institution.


• Professional Experience: Minimum of four years of relevant work experience in data analysis, data quality, or a related field.


• Technical Expertise: Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in data transformation, cleansing, and normalization projects.


• Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency with Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, VBA macros, and data visualization capabilities.


• Database Skills: Strong working knowledge of database concepts, SQL querying, and data modeling principles.


• Business Intelligence: Advanced experience with PowerBI or similar business intelligence and visualization tools.


• Data Governance Knowledge: Solid understanding of data governance concepts, including the critical need for documented definitions, calculations, sources, lineage, and data stewardship practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Education: Master's degree or higher in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Management, or a related discipline.


• Industry-Specific Knowledge: Familiarity with Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN) and Definitive data concepts in healthcare or related industries.


• Certifications: Relevant certifications in data governance, data quality, or data management (e.g., CDMP, IAIQ) are highly valued.


• Tool Expertise: Experience with data cataloging tools, data quality platforms, or master data management solutions.
