Workshop/APD is an award-winning, multidisciplinary architecture and design firm. They are looking for an ambitious junior interior designer to join their talented team and work on high-end residential projects, supporting the delivery of projects through collaboration and organization.


Responsibilities

  • Manage FF&E research, sourcing, and vendor coordination
  • Support senior designer and design manager in selecting furniture, lighting, fabrics, and accessories that align with the project’s design direction and client preferences
  • Assist manager on creating client presentations, material and finish schedules, and design documentation
  • Assist in reviewing design details, finishes, and customizations during furniture production
  • Ensure final products meet design specifications and make minor adjustments as needed
  • Manage time and workload to meet project task deadlines and commitments with regular interaction and direction from senior staff

Skills

  • Professional Degree in Interior Design or related field
  • 1 to 2 years of experience, internship experiences valid
  • Passionate and self-driven ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate within a team and relay information timely to senior staff
  • Highly organized and able to vision and manage all parts of the project
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Excel and all Adobe programs
  • Studio Webware is a plus
