What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for accurately inputting, organizing, and processing critical healthcare-related information into our FACIS database. Your attention to detail will directly impact data quality and, ultimately, patient safety and healthcare provider efficiency.

Core Duties Include:


  • Document Analysis: Analyze various documents including board orders, meeting minutes, press releases, and other healthcare-related records to identify and extract relevant data for database entry

  • Data Entry Excellence: Efficiently and accurately input diverse types of information into our user interface, ensuring completeness and consistency across all entries

  • Research & Verification: Conduct additional research as necessary about data sources, including contacting appropriate data authorities for guidance on interpreting complex documents

  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with management, peers, and stakeholders regarding data acquisition, transformation processes, and project status updates

  • Process Articulation: Clearly articulate data transformation processes to team members and management, ensuring transparency in workflow

  • Project Flexibility: Take on additional periodical and ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed to support team objectives and company operations

  • Independent Performance: Demonstrate self-motivation to work day-to-day with limited oversight while maintaining productivity standards

  • Resource Utilization: Utilize provided resources and documentation to answer questions independently before seeking assistance

  • Quality Assurance: Meet and exceed quality and efficiency benchmarks established for the Data Entry queue

  • Continuous Improvement: Test new methods thoroughly while considering excellence a fundamental priority in all work performed

Education & Experience Requirements:


  • High School diploma or GED equivalent (Required)

  • Must be at least 18 years of age (Required)

  • Previous data entry and comparison experience (Preferred)
