Position Overview

As a Customer Support Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of data integrity and accuracy across our systems. You will serve as the primary audit point for critical business functions including planned demand quantities, allocations, and special event data. Your role is essential in ensuring that our internal teams and customers have access to reliable, accurate information that drives informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

As a valued member of the arenaflex team, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:


  • Data Integrity Management: Responsible for thoroughly reviewing and validating all data for integrity and accuracy before any system inputs. You will implement quality control processes that ensure information entering our systems meets the highest standards of precision and completeness.
  • Audit and Verification: Act as the primary audit point for Planned Demand quantities, allocations, and special event data. This requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies before they impact operations or customer relationships.
  • Customer Issue Resolution: Courteously and promptly resolve customer questions and problems, ensuring every interaction leaves a positive impression. When issues fall outside your scope, you will properly refer them to appropriate personnel while following up to ensure timely resolution.
  • System Administration: Execute the administration of customer-required systems, including pricing updates, promotional implementations, and general item maintenance. You will become proficient in multiple platforms to effectively manage customer-specific configurations.
  • Discount File Management: Maintain customer-specific national and regional custom discount files within arenaflex and customer-based systems. This involves regular updates, accuracy checks, and coordination with account managers to reflect current pricing agreements.
  • Promotion and New Item Coordination: Execute and coordinate with internal departments on promotion and new item processes for assigned accounts. You will serve as a liaison between sales, operations, and customers to ensure smooth product launches and promotional campaigns.
  • New Account Setup: Review and coordinate with Account Managers on new store opening accounts within arenaflex business systems. You will ensure proper attributes and price structures are activated on each new account, guaranteeing seamless onboarding and accurate billing from day one.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role at arenaflex, you must possess the following qualifications:


  • Education: Associate degree in Business Management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience demonstrating equivalent knowledge and skills.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of customer-related experience and account management experience is required. This background should demonstrate your ability to handle complex customer needs and manage multiple accounts effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. You should be comfortable creating spreadsheets, documents, and managing email communications professionally.
  • Judgment and Independence: Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available. You must be capable of making sound decisions while maintaining quality standards.
