Remote, USA Full-time Immediate Start

My client is a highly acquisitive Fortune 500-sized multi-billion $ turnover tech business, with operations & offices in North America, the UK&I, across Europe, and Asia. We have been selected by this large technology business to help further build-out their Internal Audit, Assurance, and Risk team. The next assignment we have is to find a Senior Internal Auditor / an Internal Audit Manager who can be based (remotely, if desired) in various places, in the USA*. The business employs over 5,000 people in over 50 business units based in over than 20 countries. It is made up of a group of companies that are constantly innovating and looking for new products and best practices. Group Internal Audit covers all the Group operations and therefore all the entities in which they operate. These roles will however focus on the North American businesses. Therefore, your official place of work will be from home. This can be based in nearly any location across North America, with a preference for locations on an Eastern or Central (USA) timezone**. Travel is expected to be around 20-30%. Group Internal Audit (IA) is in a unique position where it can provide insight across the Group in all areas and recommend improvements to what is done, how it is done and why. Under the guidance of the Head of Audit, Assurance, and Risk, contributing to and being part of this change will give you the chance to not just perform audits, but to design and implement practical approaches in a global business. Internal audit is perceived extremely well in this company, and you will be part of the strategy to maintain and grow this within the Group. By communicating with all levels of management, you will make a significant contribution to the businesses’ assessment of risk and have unrivalled exposure to the business. We have placed many people into this business, who joined at the Senior and Management levels, and soon were promoted to Senior Manager, or Director. Due to the autonomy and senior level exposure of this role within the business, the same progression could be enjoyed by the successful candidate for this position. Therefore, it is likely you will be lined up a role in the business with 2-3 years, normally in finance or the core operations in a part of the Group’s network or promoted in the Internal Audit (IA) team. This could be internationally, if desired. We are looking for a driven, ambitious (internal) auditor / risk advisory professional, with excellent interpersonal skills, who is seeking their first or second move into industry (most likely with around 4-8 years’ experience). You background will likely be in external audit / assurance / risk advisory in a Top 10 / Big 4 accounting practice (a CPA firm); or internal audit experience another large commercial organisation; or a mix of both. A qualification (CPA/CA/CIA etc.) would be helpful, but not strictly necessary. English is the only language required within this business, regardless of the location. If you would like to join a high-performing, growing team within a highly successful and acquisitive business, we’d love to hear from you. • Title and salary will depend on experience, and location respectively. We will be happy to cover this with you to make sure you are fully motivated to join and do a great job. As a guide: Salary: $100-120,000 (plus 15% bonus, share incentive plan, healthcare, etc)., depending on location, and experience. Title: Senior Internal Auditor 4-5 years’ experience Internal Audit Manager 5+ years' experience • *The Group has operations and offices all over the USA (and all over the globe). Please let us know which USA location you are most interested in when applying. This client will not sponsor visas, so you will need to have the right to work in the USA, in your chosen location.
