<p><strong>Education:</strong></p><ul><li>Associate degree with 3+ years , or Bachelor’s Degree with 2 or more years of relevant experience in biology and animal sciences, or Master’s Degree with 1 or more year of relevant invivo experience, in chemical biology, molecular and cellular biology, pharmacology, biology, or other relevant scientific discipline</li><li>Additional years of relevant industry experience(in-vivo experience) is preferred.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Experience and Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience working with small laboratory animals with hands-on experience in in-vivo dosing, bleeding, tissue collection and handling techniques.</li><li>Experience in one or more of the following areas: PK, oncology , cardio metabolic disease and biologics.</li><li>The individual will perform experiments in the laboratory with minimal guidance and supervision in the execution of complex in vivo studies to support the pipeline.</li><li>The successful candidate will also possess a strong sense of intellectual curiosity to expand their technical expertise, as well as effective written and interpersonal communication skills to collaborate across functional areas.</li><li>Ability to work flexibly in a dynamic team environment.</li><li>Works independently and is able to simultaneously handle a diverse workload with strong organizational and time management skills.</li><li>The ideal candidate should be team oriented, value workplace partnership and can work with minimal to no supervision.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Note:</strong></p><ul><li>Candidate should be flexible and open to cover during weekend whenever needed.</li><li>Experience in one or more of the following areas: PK, oncology , cardio metabolic disease and biologics.</li><li>No PHD</li><li>Shift- Monday-Friday(8a-5p PST). Occasional weekends.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Study support may include:</strong></p><ul><li>Performing or training staff on animal handling.</li><li>Compound administration</li><li>Dosing (All routes with an emphasis on intravenous administration in rodents)</li><li>Sampling</li><li>Tissue collection</li><li>Animal ordering</li><li>Clinical observations</li><li>Understanding and executing in vivo studies including collaborating with researchers, obtaining formulated diets, monitoring and maintaining equipment.</li><li>Assist with perioperative care, provide husbandry oversite on weekends including room checks and emergency facility issues.</li><li>In-vivo dosing, bleeding, animal veterinary care and handling of small laboratory animals during a shifted workweek that includes the weekend.</li><li>Scientific curiosity, analytical mindset with a drive to own a project to understand biology, mechanism of action and drive it through the discovery pipeline.</li><li>Ability to work independently in executing tightly controlled experiments, analyzing data, and presenting to teams.</li><li>Effective communicator, having people skills and being able to work as a team player and working effectively in a matrixed environment.</li></ul><p></p>
