Connected Logistics is seeking an IDE Application System Administrator I to maintain the Integrated Data Environment (IDE), a critical platform for supply chain and logistics information. The role involves administering computer network systems, troubleshooting, implementing network security tools, and training staff in applicable software.


Responsibilities

  • Administer and support daily operational requirements of computer network systems including workstation, file servers, and web servers
  • Install hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, web page design, interface and updates, and local system design documentation
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services
  • Train staff in software applicable to their position
  • Assist customers with information technology
  • Monitor system configuration (hardware and software)
  • Provide instruction on computers and applications

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or IT with greater than 1 year of professional experience in a related field
  • OR a minimum of 4 years of professional experience with 1 year or more in professional engineering or IT in a related field in lieu of a degree
  • Active Secret level government clearance
