Position Overview

We are currently looking for a dynamic and friendly professional to join our talented office staff as a Customer Service Representative with a focus on Accounts Receivable. This is a full-time hybrid position that offers the flexibility of working remotely for four days per week, with one in-office day required at our West Orange, New Jersey location.

The ideal candidate will have a background in customer service, billing, or accounts receivable, and will be comfortable handling a variety of tasks related to customer support, invoicing, and financial reconciliation. Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative – AR Focus at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction while supporting our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Posting and Invoicing: Accurately process and post customer invoices in our accounting system, ensuring all transactions are properly documented and reconciled in a timely manner.

  • Accounts Receivable Management: Contact customers regarding outstanding balances, payment inquiries, and past-due accounts. You will work professionally and empathetically to resolve payment issues while maintaining positive customer relationships.

  • Customer Service Support: Provide exceptional service to customers via phone and text communications. Address inquiries, resolve concerns, and ensure every interaction leaves a positive impression of arenaflex.

  • Billing Support: Assist with various billing functions, including processing payments, generating billing statements, and responding to billing-related questions from customers.

  • Sales Support: Collaborate with our sales team to provide administrative support, process orders, and ensure a seamless experience for customers from initial inquiry through order completion.

  • Operational Efficiency Improvements: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance workflows, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our customer service and billing operations.

  • Special Projects: Assist with additional projects as needed, which may include data analysis, reporting, or cross-functional team initiatives.

Requirements & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Background Check: Must be willing to undergo a background check as part of our hiring process.

  • Training Flexibility: This position requires an in-person training period at either our Sparta or West Orange, New Jersey office before transitioning to the hybrid schedule.

  • Basic Excel Proficiency: A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and basic formulas, is required to effectively manage data, generate reports, and analyze account information.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Previous experience in customer service, billing, or accounts receivable roles

  • Familiarity with accounting software or CRM systems

Compensation & Benefits
