Health Policy Analyst

DaVita Kidney Care is seeking a Health Policy Analyst to join their Policy Analytics team. The role involves analyzing healthcare policies and financial data to assess the impact of regulations on patients and the dialysis industry, as well as developing advocacy strategies based on this analysis.


Responsibilities

  • Perform regular financial reporting on Medicare reimbursement
  • Read and understand complex regulatory and legislative documents
  • Translate policy into financial impacts and assist in developing advocacy strategies
  • Effectively communicate policies or analytics to target relevant audience (across the organization)
  • Streamline financial and health population models
  • Perform ad hoc analytics across a variety of policies, directly and indirectly related to healthcare / our organization
  • Attend team meetings and training as needed
  • Know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures
  • Consistent, regular, punctual attendance as scheduled is an essential responsibility of this position

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
  • Zero to Two (0-2) years of professional experience in a finance or analytics role
  • Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities
  • Ability to manage cross-functional projects and develop advocacy strategies
  • Proficiency in Excel is a plus
