Ford Motor Company is transforming the future for customers and communities. They are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support the Manufacturing Launch Finance Team, contributing financial expertise to ensure successful and cost-effective product launches.


Responsibilities

  • Drive Data Analysis: Perform physical-based financial analysis to provide the Launch Director with actionable insights for critical decision-making
  • Coordinate Plant Operations: Partner with plant finance teams to track program changes, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive lower launch costs
  • Forecast & Consolidate: Assist in the consolidation of plant forecasts, ensuring accuracy and providing the "story" behind the numbers for senior management
  • Modernize Workflows: Actively use and implement new technologies to automate reporting and modernize legacy finance processes
  • Support Month-End: Execute month-end close activities, including performance reporting and variance analysis
  • Ad Hoc Support: Provide analytical support for special studies, pilot plant operations, and other strategic initiatives as needed

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, finance, Math, Statistics, economics or related fields
  • Analytical Rigor: A natural ability to dive into complex data sets and emerge with clear, accurate conclusions
  • Business Partnering: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across different functions
  • Financial Modeling: Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and developing business cases
  • Agility: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and pivot quickly as program requirements change
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivots, complex formulas, modeling)
