Field Service Engineer - Philadelphia

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through effective service and support of Beckman Coulter products, while fostering relationships and addressing customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Service Beckman Coulter products at the customer facility
• Cultivate customer relationships and support commercial initiatives
• Drive a sense of urgency to ensure the customer needs are addressed promptly with an emphasis on a “first time fix” through the problem-solving process

Skills

• Associate's degree in mechanical, electrical, biomedical engineering, life science or equivalent military experience
• 1+ year experience problem solving, diagnosing, or troubleshooting challenges with instrumentation using a variety of methods
• Overnight travel 10% - 50%
• Ability to commute onsite to customer facilities within assigned territory
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to occasionally lift, lower and move up to 50 lbs. (tools, replacement parts, consumables etc.)
• Laboratory or field service roles
• Working in a regulated laboratory environment
