The Role: Third-Party Marketplace Account Manager

In this role, you will be instrumental in expanding our third-party seller ecosystem, acquiring high-value vendors, and driving the growth of our marketplace platform. You'll be the bridge between arenaflex and our seller partners, helping them navigate the complexities of online selling while maximizing their success on our platform.

Key Responsibilities
As a Third-Party Marketplace Account Manager at arenaflex, you will:
- Develop Deep Market Insights: Build and maintain a thorough understanding of market segments, seasonal trends, and global market developments. Continuously monitor competitor activities and identify emerging opportunities in the e-commerce landscape.
- Drive Vendor Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and recruit high-potential sellers to join our platform. Utilize direct sales outreach, participate in industry events, and deliver compelling presentations to attract key marketplace players.
- Enable Seller Success: Guide new and existing sellers through onboarding and growth journeys by sharing best practices for online selling. Provide data-driven insights that help sellers achieve exceptional delivery standards, superior customer experiences, and meet their business objectives.
- Build Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve vendor challenges. Work closely with our operations, marketing, and product teams to ensure a seamless seller experience.
- Expand Product Selection: Identify gaps in our product assortment and execute go-to-market strategies to attract new categories of sellers. Maximize our product selection breadth and grow our customer base through strategic vendor partnerships.
- Drive Revenue Growth: Acquire, develop, and manage high-value relationships that expand our marketplace offerings. Focus on cozy new product selection, competitive pricing, and convenience for our customers.
- Strategic Market Development: Analyze market opportunities and develop strategies to enter new market segments. Leverage your entrepreneurial mindset to identify innovative approaches to growing our seller network.
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
- Sales Experience: 1 to 3 years of successful business-to-business sales experience, preferably in e-commerce, technology, retail, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industries.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets using consultative and solutions-focused selling methodologies.
- Market Entry Experience: Experience promoting nascent products or services into new markets is strongly preferred.
- Communication Skills: Advanced verbal and presentation abilities with exceptional written and oral communication skills. You must be comfortable negotiating and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office programs. Must be capable of analyzing complex data and deriving actionable insights.
- Analytical Capabilities: Advanced analytical and quantitative abilities with comfort working with complex financial data.
