- *Job Summary**
As the Senior Director, Global Head, Adversarial Abuse/Analytics, you will be responsible for leading our Adversarial Abuse team in identifying and eliminating malicious actors who attempt to take over accounts, engage in spam, commit abuse, and evade termination. You will also oversee our Business Investigation team, which is responsible for producing insights, estimating uncaught badnesses, and distributing Transparency Reports for countries around the world.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the Adversarial Abuse team in identifying and eliminating malicious actors who attempt to take over accounts, engage in spam, commit abuse, and evade termination
- Oversee the Business Investigation team, which is responsible for producing insights, estimating uncaught badnesses, and distributing Transparency Reports for countries around the world
- Collaborate with the Strategy Development team to develop approaches using account, social, and content signals to describe harmful behavior
- Develop and implement effective and efficient operational execution (e.g., quality, service levels) in a global team working 24/7
- Engage, retain, develop, and foster brilliant talent
- Manage accelerations with quick turnaround times required to circle back, provide data and content-driven insights, and implement solutions while building relationships with key cross-functional partners to launch new products and approaches that effectively prevent adversarial abuse
- *Essential Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics)
- Four years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience
- Two years of experience working with risk management, abuse fighting at scale, and building/conveying analytical experiences
- Two years of experience working with design teams that form data foundation and ML models
- Two years of experience driving teams with the ability to work non-standard workweeks as accelerations require
- *Preferred Qualifications**
- Postgraduate education in a related field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics)
- Two years of experience with investigation of large datasets and anomaly detection
- Experience or demonstrated interest in adversarial abuse activities
- Knowledge of SQL/R/Matlab
- Exceptional influencing and leadership skills and the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners
- Magnificent business judgment, critical and analytical skills, including using data to drive strategy and business action with the ability to work in a rapidly changing industry and manage ambiguity while minimizing uncertainty through quantitative insights
