- *Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Sales Chat Agent to join our team in Kansas City, MO. As a Sales Chat Agent, you'll work on sales chat for one of our telco programs, communicating with customers through live chat or email to answer their queries and sell the value of our clients' products and services. - *Responsibilities**
- Assist customers who are active and lodge inquiries online via our client's website.
- Handle incoming queries from customers who are interested in learning more about our clients' products and services, and be able to close new phone/line subscriptions, add in accessories to go with the phone, offer tablets and the latest phones.
- Respond promptly to customer concerns, record and document each transaction in all forms of communications.
- Adhere to client privacy guidelines to ensure each customer's privacy.
- Maintain regular attendance as required by your position. Employees are required to work non-traditional business hours, such as holidays, evenings, and weekends as business demands.
- *Qualifications**
- Must be able to work anytime during the center hours of operation (to include rotating shifts and occasional overtime).
- Basic math skills, data entry skills, and sales aptitude.
- General understanding and experience with call centers/customer service, or sales.
- Ability to use current computer equipment and programs being used.
- Keen to details, must have above-average oral and written communication skills.
- Must have strong administrative, computer, organizational, and detail skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to monitor work for accuracy and thoroughness.
- Ability to deal with customers patiently, tactfully, and efficiently by presenting services to the customer for sales opportunities.

- Comfortable interacting with a diverse customer base.
- History of excellent work attendance required.
- Minimum one (1) year Customer Service/Sales with upselling experience required.
- Minimum one (1) year experience meeting goals or quotas required.
- Minimum one (1) year Call Center experience in a sales account preferred.
- Experience in the Telecommunications industry is a plus.
- Previous work experience in a Business Processing Outsourcing (BPO) environment is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Willing to work onsite.
