  • *Job Responsibilities:**

As an Experienced Reimbursement Specialist – Healthcare Benefits Verification, you will be responsible for:

  • Verifying patient insurance benefits to ensure seamless reimbursement for healthcare services
  • Conducting outbound calls to insurance providers to verify information and confirm coverage changes
  • Collecting and reviewing patient insurance benefit information according to program SOPs
  • Completing and submitting insurance forms and prior authorizations in a timely manner
  • Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, resolving requests promptly and escalating complaints as needed
  • Maintaining regular phone contact with provider representatives, third-party customer service reps, and pharmacy staff
  • Effectively communicating with payors for benefit investigations and coordinating with inter-departmental associates as necessary
  • Processing insurance and patient correspondence
  • Reporting reimbursement trends or delays to the supervisor
  • Providing all necessary documentation for prior authorizations, including demographic details and relevant identification numbers
  • Analyzing moderate scope problems within defined SOPs, exercising judgment to determine appropriate actions
  • Reporting all adverse events in line with training and SOP
  • Performing related duties as assigned with minimal instruction
  • *Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 1 year of experience in specialty pharmacy, medical insurance, healthcare setting, and/or related experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Background check required
  • Employment verification required: Last 3 employers
  • *Preferred Qualifications:**
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare benefits verification or related field
  • Experience working with CRM systems and prior authorization processes
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare insurance policies and procedures
  • Certification in healthcare benefits verification or related field

  • $18.00 per hour (base rate)
  • $19.00 per hour (for 2+ years of experience specific to healthcare benefits verification)

The training schedule for this project will be as follows:

  • December: M-F, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST (on-camera training)
  • Approximately 3 weeks of training, including practice and mock calls
  • Various assessments during training, with a requirement to meet program score requirements by December 31
  • *Equipment Pickup:**

You will be required to pick up equipment in Lake Mary, FL at the beginning of the project.

  • *Return of Equipment:**

You will be required to return equipment in Lake Mary, FL at the end of the project.

  • *Holidays:**

arenaflex observes the following holidays:

  • December 24-25, 2024
  • December 31, 2024 - January 1, 2025
  • *Weekends:**

You may be required to work weekends starting in January, with overtime pay approved by the client.

  • *Overtime:**

All overtime must be client-approved.

  • *Schedule:**

The schedule for this project will be M-F, between 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST, with a 1-hour lunch break and adherence to assigned break schedules.
