Position Overview: Ramp Agent (Customer Service Specialist)
As a Ramp Agent at arenaflex, you'll be an essential part of our airport operations team, responsible for ensuring that luggage, mail, and freight are handled safely, efficiently, and arrive at their destinations on time. This position is physically demanding and requires individuals who are comfortable performing repetitive tasks, working in various weather conditions, and handling heavy loads.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safe Loading and Unloading: Safely lift, load, dump, and transport luggage, mail, and freight to and from aircraft, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed at all times.
- Aircraft Movement: Assist with timely connections by directing incoming and outgoing aircraft to and from gate positions.
- Cargo Protection: Protect freight, items, and mail from damage, loss, and weather-related issues, maintaining the highest standards of care.
- Ground Equipment Operation: Safely drive and operate ground equipment including tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in congested areas, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Work with baggage scanners and computer systems to ensure items are correctly routed to their intended destinations.
- Safety Compliance: Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures, prioritizing the safety of yourself, teammates, and customers.
- Weather Adaptation: Perform duties in various weather conditions including heat, rain, and snow, maintaining productivity and safety standards.
Work Schedule and Requirements:
- Full-time position with 8-hour shifts
- Shift times vary based on operational needs, ranging from early morning to evening hours
- Work hours typically range from 20-40 hours per week depending on station requirements and flight schedules
- Must be flexible and willing to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Physical requirements include frequent bending, lifting, standing, and walking throughout the shift
- Must be able to lift and move bags weighing up to 50-70 pounds repeatedly
