As a Part-Time Remote Specialty Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry Transplant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a high-production environment. Your primary duties will include:
- Routing questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion
- Making outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes
- Maintaining excellent customer service while multitasking between patient referrals
- Demonstrating high levels of reliability, accuracy, professionalism, customer focus, team orientation, problem-solving abilities, strong written and oral communication, and strong computer skills
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Provide exceptional patient care and support in a high-production environment
- Route questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion
- Make outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Demonstrate a commitment to quality and patient safety
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices
- *Essential Qualifications**
- 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Pharmacy Tech Certified in the state of GA
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong computer skills and experience with electronic medical records
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

- Specialty pharmacy experience
- Call center experience
- Prescription adjudication experience in order to communicate with prescribers regarding case status and assess prescription claim issues
