  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Promote and sell air travel to the traveling public or freight forwarders, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Assist with passenger check-in and cargo acceptance, ensuring that all procedures are followed accurately and efficiently.
  • Interpret government rules and requirements for domestic and international travel or cargo shipments, providing clear guidance to customers and colleagues alike.
  • Meet and dispatch aircraft within established times, ensuring that flights depart and arrive on schedule.
  • Provide assistance to distressed passengers and customers, responding promptly and professionally to their needs.
  • Protect company property and revenue, maintaining a safe and secure environment for all customers and employees.
  • Possess the physical ability and dexterity to use motor skills to perform various job-related tasks, including driving and operating air stairs.
  • Use organizational skills to perform multiple tasks within a limited time period, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Be self-motivated and require minimal supervision, taking initiative to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Respond and assist during security and emergency situations, providing critical support to customers and colleagues.
  • Follow internal and external policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • May be required to drive and operate air stairs up to various types of aircraft in order to enplane and deplane passengers.
  • Responsible for the overall performance within work area and may be required to lead and direct the work of other employees.
  • May be required to perform Passenger Operation Control functions, including air to ground communication as well as Tower functions.
  • *Essential and Preferred Qualifications:**
  • **Minimum Qualifications:**
  • + High school diploma or GED+ Read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language+ Bilingual language skills required in some locations+ Applicable valid driver's license as required by local authorities+ Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable+ Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable+ Ability to work irregular and/or extended hours, including weekends and holidays+ Must report to work on a regular and timely basis
  • **Preferred Qualifications:**
  • + Previous experience in customer service or a related field+ Knowledge of government rules and regulations related to air travel and cargo shipments+ Familiarity with airport operations and procedures+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment
