  • *Job Summary**

As a Full Stack Data Scientist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in our Clinical Trials team. You'll be responsible for creating high-quality, actionable insights from complex data sets, using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques. Your work will have a direct impact on our business decisions and patient outcomes, making you a key contributor to our success.

  • *Key Responsibilities**
  • Mine crude data sets to extract normalized, analysis-ready patient data from in-house resources or authorized platforms, analyze and interpret results, and inform investigation procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to distill meaningful insights from real-world, clinical, and other data sources, supporting biopharmaceutical RWE and clinical trial initiatives.
  • Clean, transform, and store data into a unified data lake for future analysis and broader team utilization.
  • Perform data mining and statistical analysis to extract new insights from RWE/RWD regarding patient populations and treatment outcomes.
  • Develop and apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to resolve complex research questions from biopharmaceutical organizations.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to design and execute results research studies.
  • Ensure high-quality, thorough, and interpretable findings from RWE reviews and analyses.
  • Develop dashboards, analysis, and reports for internal and external use.
  • Conduct a significant portion of effort on new true data suppliers, merchants, and drive RWD quality evaluations to inform project decisions.
  • *Essential Capabilities**
  • 2+ years of experience with R, Python, or SQL.
  • Experience in designing and executing effective and reproducible statistical analyses in the context of epidemiology and observational research with healthcare data.
  • Knowledge of standard statistical testing methods, including generalized linear models, regression and classification, decision trees, machine learning, time series analysis, and survival analysis.
  • Experience handling large datasets from various sources.
  • Experience managing protected patient health data.
  • Familiarity with at least one of the following: Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Spotfire, or other BI visualization tools.
  • *Preferred Capabilities**
  • Mastery in EMR/Health IT, disease libraries, and claims data sets.
  • Aptitude in clinical data principles, clinical terminology, and controlled vocabularies used in healthcare data and ontologies (ICD9/10/ReadCode).
  • Experience in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory compliance rules for RWE studies or clinical trials (e.g., ISO, MDD/MDR, CFR).
  • Experience working with alternative data sources and alternative methods for clinical data collection, particularly those enabled by technology platforms and solutions.
  • Experience with trial design, Bayesian modeling, sequential data, computational statistics.
  • Understanding of machine learning and AI strategies, ability to continue self-learning of technical and non-technical skills.
