• *Job Summary**

As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of sports information on all ESPN platforms, including television, digital, and print. You'll work closely with our team to create and maintain a comprehensive database of sports information, and use your analytical skills to identify trends and insights that will help us deliver better content to our fans.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of sports information on all ESPN platforms
• Work in individual settings and in teams to deliver accurate and timely data entry, clock-and-score, and other metrics and information that power a wide range of ESPN products and productions
• Create and maintain a comprehensive database of sports information, including scores, schedules, standings, and other relevant data
• Analyze data to identify trends and insights that will help us deliver better content to our fans
• Collaborate with our team to develop and refine data entry processes and procedures
• Participate in team and office meetings to discuss data entry issues and opportunities
• Seek and respond to feedback on personal performance
• Stay up-to-date on current office policies and procedures

• *Required Capabilities**

• Working knowledge of sports, players, and the rules of the games
• Full-time availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to rapidly learn data entry processes and procedures
• Capacity to achieve a high level of content accuracy in time-sensitive production circumstances
• Ability to communicate confidently – verbally and in writing – to production managers and colleagues about production issues and opportunities, often in the midst of a busy newsroom

• *Preferred Capabilities**

• 1+ years of experience in sports or data analysis, ideally in media
• Knowledge of how sports data is used in media and for research purposes
• Working knowledge of ESPN products and productions
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
• Experience leading or training a team
• Ability to speak and write Spanish
• Experience using social media in a business or news context

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree preferred
