  • *Responsibilities**

As a Full Stack Data Engineer on our Operations Analytics and Performance team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, and deploying data pipelines to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives
  • Developing and maintaining data models, including data warehousing and business intelligence solutions
  • Ensuring the integrity and quality of our data assets, including data governance and data quality initiatives
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs and develop data-driven solutions
  • Developing and maintaining automated reporting and analytics capabilities to support business decision-making
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior team members and contributing to the development of best practices and standards
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and analytics, and applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the team
  • *Essential Qualifications**
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on data architecture, data modeling, and data governance
  • Proficiency in SQL and ETL/ELT patterns, with experience working with data warehousing and business intelligence solutions
  • Strong programming skills in Python, SAS, or other comparable languages, with experience working with data engineering tools and technologies
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex reporting database environments and develop creative solutions to technical challenges
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science, or other relevant quantitative field
  • *Preferred Qualifications**
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science, or other relevant quantitative field
  • Previous experience working in the airline industry or with similar data-intensive environments
  • Working knowledge of and/or experience with cloud-based solutions, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Experience with data visualization tools and technologies, such as Tableau or Power BI
