As a Full Stack Data Engineer in our Operations Analytics and Performance department, you'll play a critical role in harnessing the power of data to drive business decisions and improve operational efficiency. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Locating and extracting data from various sources to support analysis, modeling, and project development
- Cleaning and curating datasets by identifying the best sources of data, aggregating perspectives into meaningful hierarchies, and collaborating with other business units to ensure data quality and consistency
- Developing and maintaining data environments, including data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that meet business needs
- Leveraging emerging technologies and proactively identifying new and innovative approaches to communicate data and insights that support business objectives
- Supporting project development and control engagements for various business units and cross-functional initiatives
- Training and mentoring other team members in data engineering skills and best practices
- Practicing security-aware behaviors in all operational techniques and procedures

- *What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)**
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or a related field
- Proficiency in SQL and ETL/ELT patterns
- Proficiency with Python, SAS, or other comparable tools and programming languages
- Ability to troubleshoot a reporting database environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with multiple requests and timelines
- Self-starter with a resilient, solution-minded approach to complex problems
- Consistently prioritizes security and protection of self, others, and personal data

- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States
