  • **Pay:** $18/hour (with a pay increase for bilingual candidates who speak French or Spanish)
  • **Contract:** Up to 6 months (with the possibility of extension or permanent role)
  • **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 7am-7pm (with extended hours during busy season)
  • **Location:** Work from home with the option to train onsite the first day
  • **Eligibility:** Must live within 1 hour of Bloomington, MN to be eligible for the remote role
  • *The Role**

As a Benefit Customer Service Representative, you'll have the rewarding opportunity to:

  • Build rapport and respond to plan participants in a compassionate manner
  • Customize your customer service approach to meet all types of communication styles and personalities while maintaining professionalism and diplomacy during difficult calls
  • Handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion in accordance with HIPAA and Data Privacy laws and company data security requirements
  • Demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and compliance with company and client procedures and guidelines providing appropriate and accurate information
  • Maintain and document complete and accurate call and case notes in a professional manner
  • Regularly participate in team meetings and training
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • *Key Responsibilities**
  • Provide exceptional customer service to plan participants via phone, chat, and message center
  • Customize your approach to meet the unique needs and preferences of each customer
  • Handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion
  • Maintain accurate and complete call and case notes
  • Participate in team meetings and training to stay up-to-date on company procedures and client guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • *Essential Qualifications**
  • 6 months to 1 year of call center experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in handling confidential information with sensitivity and discretion
  • Strong knowledge of company and client procedures and guidelines
  • Ability to maintain accurate and complete call and case notes
  • Willingness to participate in team meetings and training
  • *Preferred Qualifications**
  • Bilingual candidates who speak French or Spanish
  • Experience working in a customer service role in the insurance industry
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA and Data Privacy laws and company data security requirements
  • Experience working in a remote or work-from-home environment
