We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for communicating with customers via inbound and outbound calls, assessing customer needs, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. You will also be responsible for documenting calls, entering customer orders, and verifying demographic information.

  • Communicate with customers via inbound and outbound manual calls and outbound calls generated via automated dialer system
  • Assess customer need for additional products/services and determine ongoing and additional product/service needs
  • Assess customer compliance with physician orders and provide education on products/services
  • Answer questions and provide customer education regarding products/services
  • Document calls in computerized record keeping system
  • Enter customer orders in computerized system
  • Verify and update demographic information such as address and telephone number in computerized records
  • Read and analyze documents such as patient orders
  • Comprehend pharmacy prescription terminology
  • Effectively communicate with coworkers and patients alike
  • Assist with the training of employees
  • Calculate figures and amounts in reference to frequency and doses dispensed
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out oral and written instructions
  • *Essential Qualifications**
  • High School Diploma, General Education Diploma (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training
  • Computer entry required
  • Must meet any licensing requirements necessary for specific location

  • Previous customer service experience in a healthcare setting

  • Knowledge of pharmacy prescription terminology
