About This Opportunity

As a Customer Care Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the voice of our company—the first point of contact for policyholders when they need assistance with their home, auto, or other insurance policies. This is an entry-level position in our dynamic contact center that provides exceptional career pathways into our Claims and Operations organization, including additional skill-building opportunities.

We understand that starting a new role can feel overwhelming, which is why we've developed a comprehensive onboarding experience. With a detailed roadmap for learning opportunities and managers who are specifically trained to coach and guide you toward career development, you'll be equipped with the right tools to build a long-lasting and evolving professional career. You'll receive eight weeks of paid training to ensure you're fully prepared to serve our policyholders with excellence.

What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of our customer care team, you'll take ownership to ensure that we go above and beyond to service each caller's needs. Every interaction is an opportunity to build value and strengthen the arenaflex brand. Here's what you can expect:


  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Provide outstanding support to our policyholders in every interaction, ensuring each customer feels valued, heard, and appreciated.

  • Handle Inbound Communications: Manage inbound telephone calls from customers with questions or servicing needs related to their home and/or auto insurance policies.

  • Be the First Point of Contact: Explain the claims process to policyholders, initiate damage appraisals, and organize rental car arrangements when appropriate.

  • Process Claims Effectively: Initiate claims according to claims best practices, as assigned, while maintaining accuracy and compliance with company procedures.

  • Policy Servicing: Handle payments, process policy changes, take new loss information, and resolve or answer customer problems and information requests.

  • Promote Digital Solutions: Encourage and assist customers in utilizing our digital self-service capabilities on all transactions, helping them access information quickly and conveniently.

  • Master Multiple Systems: Utilize multiple computer applications with accuracy and efficiency to maintain seamless service delivery.

What We're Looking For: Qualifications

Essential Qualifications


  • A demonstrated background in customer service, insurance, retail, restaurant, or a related field

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to empathize with customers and understand their needs

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex environment while multitasking effectively

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all transactions and communications

  • Experience working in a Windows-based computer environment

  • The ability to work collaboratively with team members across different departments

  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address customer concerns effectively

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications


  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) to develop and enhance strong, impactful customer relationships

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus

  • Previous experience in the insurance industry

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and telephony software

Schedule & Training Details

We want to set you up for success from day one. Here's what to expect regarding your training and work schedule:


  • Start Date: April 8, 2024

  • Training Hours: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday (8 weeks with no time off)

  • Post-Training Hours: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday

  • Work Arrangement: This position will have a Remote work arrangement, with the expectations of coming into an office as business needs arise

Competitive Pay

The annualized base pay range for this role is $40,685 - $61,027. The listed range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency, and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of arenaflex's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition.

For this full-time remote position, please ensure you have the following:
