As an ACT/SAT Math/Science Prep Tutor at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in helping high school students prepare for one of the most important standardized tests of their academic careers. • ACT/SAT Test Preparation: Deliver comprehensive test preparation in mathematics and science subjects, covering all key areas including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, biology, chemistry, physics, and data interpretation.


• Test Strategy Development: Teach students effective test-taking strategies, time management techniques, and problem-solving approaches to maximize their scores.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.


• Tutoring Experience: Previous tutoring experience is required—demonstrated ability to work effectively with students.


• Subject Matter Expertise: Strong proficiency in mathematics (algebra, geometry, trigonometry) and at least one science subject (biology, chemistry, or physics).


• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to explain complex concepts clearly.


• Patience and Empathy: Demonstrated ability to work patiently and supportively with students at varying skill levels.


• Reliability: Must be able to reliably commute to our Chattanooga location at 37421 or planning to relocate before starting work.

• Test Prep Experience: Previous experience teaching or tutoring for ACT, SAT, or other standardized tests.


• Advanced Degrees: Master's degree or higher in education, mathematics, science, or related field.
