- *Job Summary:**
We're seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Customer Service Representative to join our team in Fountain Valley, CA. As a key member of our Accounts Payable department, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch customer service to internal and external customers, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. This is an excellent opportunity to work from home two days a week, once training is completed, and be part of a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers via phone and email, responding to requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Utilize critical thinking to research, review, and follow up on all Accounts Payable requests
- Identify and resolve issues promptly, taking proactive steps to prevent future problems
- Open and distribute daily mail in the Accounts Payable department
- Scan and validate invoices into OnBase within 24 hours of receipt
- Assist in reviewing check registers for accuracy and mailing checks after each pay cycle
- Compile accurate and timely data for month and year-end accruals
- Maintain a positive, constructive attitude and interact with colleagues in a professional manner
- Prioritize tasks and multitask effectively to meet deadlines
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and directives
- *Essential Qualifications:**
- Minimum one year's customer service experience, preferably in Accounts Payable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of PCs, Microsoft Office applications, and aptitude for learning new software
- Can-do attitude and positive customer response style
- Understanding of Purchasing needs and functionality
- 10-Key by touch and keyboarding skills required
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience with Accounts Payable software and systems
- Familiarity with OnBase or similar document management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent, with business-related courses a plus
